On the eve of October

Tomorrow is the first day of October – breast cancer month – and we have something very exciting planned.

Part of our work as Advocates for Breast Cancer is to give a voice to the voiceless, so we decided to do just that. Every day in October we will be publishing a video interview with a breast cancer survivor. We have spoken to women (and one man) from all over South Africa, and we invite you to “Walk with Me” with each one of them.

Only one of the videos was shot by a professional videographer. The rest were shot in various places around the country, from hospitals to offices, from training rooms to gardens. We hope that you will be inspired to make your own videos and send them to us so that your voices can also be heard.
